This Assist option is used for LISTing information
in your files. It corresponds both to the xBASE LIST and
DISPLAY commands.
The List option in Star4Win generates an RTF file (whose name you have to specify) containing a simple table with the specified fields and their contents. The listed RTF file can be then viewed and edited either by the Star4Win text editor or by any other word processor accepting RTF format (e.g., Microsoft Word). Because of limited table presentation capabilities of the Star4Win text editor (which uses the standard Windows RichEdit library) the listed file may look not quite properly there; but wordprocessors like Microsoft Word or Word Perfect should be able to handle it better.
