AVERAGE

Gives you the average of any numeric field or a derived expression.

If you choose this option, you will be prompted: Average expression: Enter the expression (usually a field name, but derived expressions like Val(x) are also permitted) and you will see the average result.

Note that the records are averaged starting from the current record to the end of file. To get a proper result for the whole file make sure you are positioned on the first record.
